David A. Haselden
David Haselden is an associate focusing on litigation involving personal injury, wrongful death, negligence, insurance claims, business disputes, unfair trade practices, family law, and other civil matters.
David began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable James C. Williams (now retired), Resident Judge in the First Judicial Circuit. He then accepted a position as an Assistant Public Defender in the Charleston County Public Defender's Office. While at the Public Defender's office, David represented numerous defendants charged with criminal offenses in both the Court of General Sessions and the Family Court. He is licensed to practice law in South Carolina, and is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Charleston County Bar Association.
David was raised in Clover, South Carolina. He attended Clover High School and Clemson University on a football scholarship where he majored in Speech and Communications. He graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2007. David and his wife Amanda, who is also an attorney, live in Charleston with their two dogs.
